During my internship with ad agency VML, I was tasked with kicking off branding efforts for Gatorade G Series™ Pro's Inside Endurance program. This web series highlights endurance athletes and tracks their rigorous training regimens to better understand what it takes to practice, fuel and compete like a pro.
Despite warm reception, it was decided that our 'IE' concept competed too much with the Gatorade G, so we refocused toward a type solution with minimal added visual elements.
My internship concluded prior to the mark's completion, but my effort's influence is retained in the branding's finished state, which can be seen at the beginning of the following Inside Endurance episode.
